Dr. Worwag is a graduate of Harvard Medical School, the Harvard School of Public Health and Mayo Clinic. She is Board-certified and Fellowship trained in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. She is also Board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is certified in Medical Acupuncture.  She is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

A Personal Note

Dr. Worwag knows what it is like to be a patient since she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in her 20s. She has tremendous empathy for her patients. She lived the many struggles patients with a chronic illness face. She experienced firsthand the benefits and limitations of the traditional medical approach to chronic illness.

Her medical training afforded her access to renowned experts at Harvard and Mayo Clinic, who offered the most advanced and up-to-date treatment options, all of which she pursued, all of them with significant side effects and no hope for a cure.

Her fatigue became so debilitating that she seriously contemplated applying for disability. Having trained under the traditional medical model, which had instilled in her a deep skepticism of “alternative” treatment as lacking scientific basis, she turned to treatment options outside this traditional medical model as a last resort.

She is now a vibrant, fully functional woman who successfully manages parenthood and private medical practice. It was her personal experiences which ultimately led her to pursue medical training in anti-aging medicine.

Dr. Worwag personally knows how difficult it is to make lifestyle changes required for healing and optimizing health. She understands such process as ongoing, even for herself. It is a balancing act of physical, emotional and spiritual demands, which she considers part of her life’s journey.

Dr. Worwag is a passionate, compassionate practitioner of anti-aging medicine.

The anti-aging approach allows her to successfully incorporate science-based alternative and traditional medical concepts into each patient’s individualized health care plan. In that sense, Dr. Worwag is always pro-patient, rather than pro-alternative and anti-traditional medicine or vice versa.
